ASP Knowledge Hub is an online member-based knowledge-sharing and capacity-building platform, open to social protection practitioners, policy-makers, experts, academics, and students. The platform is currently hosted by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) and was established in response to a recommendation from the G20 Development Working Group in the aftermath of the triple crisis of the late 2000s to foster global knowledge sharing on social protection policies. Thanks to the contributions of its members, collaboration with stakeholders, and the dedication of the ASP Knowledge Hub team, the platform provides access to the most up-to-date and comprehensive content on social protection, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. Through these efforts, it has established a global interactive community of social protection practitioners. The platform offers free access to a variety of features, including searchable databases of social protection publications ??? such as text, audio, slides, infographics, videos, photos, databases, online tools, and legal and policy frameworks ??? as well as blogs, news, events, job opportunities, programme profiles, and country profiles. Members of ASP Knowledge Hub can connect in the social space and join online communities dedicated to key social protection topics. Users can also engage with innovative learning tools, including online courses, webinars, livestream events, academic opportunities, and podcast episodes produced by ASP Knowledge Hub. Additionally, the platform allows members to upload social protection-related content using the share feature. Social protection is essential for the realization of Sustainable Development Goal 1, ???to end poverty in all its forms everywhere,??? through the implementation of universal, national social protection floors to ensure no one is left behind. Therefore, ASP Knowledge Hub is committed to generating and sharing knowledge to promote innovative and effective social protection policies and programmes, contributing to inclusive growth and sustainable development.
